
Janay has two years of affordable and mixed-income housing development experience working in multiple states across New England. Prior to development, she spent five years as a residential broker in the Seattle-Tacoma Metro area. Janay's project experience includes new construction and adaptive re-use mixed income and affordable housing that leverage local, state, and federal resources to create income restricted and market-rate rental housing for families as well as elderly adults. Janay has experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, Workforce Housing funds, Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, and myriad local funding sources.
In her spare time, Janay loves to read, craft, exercise, bake, and watch football, hockey, and baseball. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, is an Associate Market Director for the New England Chapter of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, and is an active member of CREW, Women’s Affordable Housing Network, ULI, and the Goldie Initiative.
